Company-scoped communication verification

Verify before you trust

CardIQ Verification Hub helps customers, partners, and employees check whether a communication detail is currently recognized by the organization they expect it to belong to. The company is selected first, and CardIQ returns an organization-level result without revealing which employee owns the submitted detail.

What the Verification Hub checks

Within the selected company context, CardIQ compares supported communication details against active company-managed records and trusted-domain data.

Email

Check whether an email address is currently recognized within the selected organization.

Mobile and WhatsApp

Check supported phone numbers against the company’s current authorized communication records. Explicit WhatsApp links are evaluated in the WhatsApp context.

Landline

Check whether a landline is recognized as an active company communication detail.

Trusted domain

Check whether a submitted domain matches an active trusted domain recorded for the selected organization.

How it works

1. Start with the organization

Verification is company-scoped. The verifier starts from the company they expect the communication detail to represent.

2. Submit the communication detail

CardIQ detects the supported input type and checks it only within that company context.

3. Read the current result

The result reflects the company-controlled records available to CardIQ at the time of the check. A recognized detail can later change when the organization updates or deactivates it.

Privacy by design

Verification Hub is intentionally not a reverse people-search service.

No reverse lookup

A visitor cannot submit a phone number or email and ask CardIQ which employee owns it across companies.

Organization-level answer

Communication verification is designed to answer whether the selected organization currently recognizes the submitted detail, not to expose employee identity.

Abuse controls

Verification requests are subject to security and abuse controls such as scoped lookups and rate limiting.

How to interpret the result

Verified / recognized

The submitted detail matches a supported active record or trusted-domain context for the selected company. This verifies company recognition of the communication detail; it does not guarantee that every message, request, payment, document, or caller using it is genuine.

Not verified / not recognized

The submitted detail did not match the supported active records for the selected company. This is a reason to verify through another trusted company channel, not automatic proof of fraud.

Confirmed unauthorized / security warning

When the organization has reviewed a reported indicator and confirmed it as unauthorized, CardIQ may show a company-scoped warning for future checks of that indicator.

Verification Hub complements normal fraud, payment, email-security, IAM, and cybersecurity controls. It does not replace them.

Verification Hub and employee identity verification are related — but different

Employee identity verification

A recipient opens a company-managed employee identity surface to check the employee, company, professional details, and current status presented by the organization.

Verification Hub

A recipient already has a communication detail — such as an email, phone number, WhatsApp number, landline, or domain — and checks whether the selected organization currently recognizes it without exposing employee identity.

Frequently asked questions

What is CardIQ Verification Hub?

CardIQ Verification Hub is a company-scoped verification capability that lets a visitor check whether supported communication details are currently recognized by a selected organization without revealing the employee associated with those details.

What can I check in Verification Hub?

Supported checks include email, mobile numbers, WhatsApp numbers, landlines, and trusted domains within the selected company context.

Does a Not Verified result mean the contact is a scammer?

No. It means the submitted detail did not match the supported active company records at the time of the check. Use another trusted company channel when the request is sensitive or suspicious.

Does Verification Hub reveal which employee owns an email or phone number?

No. Communication verification is designed to return an organization-level result and is not a reverse employee lookup service.

Does Verification Hub prove that every message or transaction is legitimate?

No. It verifies company recognition of supported professional identity or communication context. Payment approvals, email authenticity, physical identity, KYC, and transaction legitimacy require their own controls.
