Identity governance

Employee Identity Lifecycle Management

Onboarding → Active Employment → Role/Details Change → Offboarding → Deactivation

Onboarding and active employment

Company administrators issue and maintain the professional identity.

Provision

Authorized admins create employees manually or use paid-plan bulk upload; API/custom workflows require supported configuration.

Company-managed fields

The workspace controls approved company relationship, professional details, branding, card state and public presentation. Employee self-service is limited to permitted flows and does not override administrative control.

Issue and share

An active identity can be shared through its public profile, QR/NFC URL, vCard and signature. Wallet and meeting-identity surfaces are available only where their platform configuration is supported.

Changes and retained evidence

Current public presentation follows the managed employee record.

Role or detail change

An authorized admin updates title, department or contact details; the managed public profile and reusable QR/NFC URL resolve to the current record.

Audit history

Implemented identity audit logging records supported administrative lifecycle actions for authorized review. This is not a promise of indefinite retention or a legal records schedule.

Offboarding and deactivation

Deactivate the employee record rather than relying on removal of printed or shared links.

Deactivate

A Company Admin can mark the employee inactive as part of offboarding.

Public impact

The same QR/NFC target no longer presents an active company identity. Public card, vCard and signature validation access are blocked or display the inactive state according to the public flow.

External copies

Previously downloaded contacts, screenshots or independently copied content cannot be remotely erased. Wallet behavior depends on the configured wallet platform; do not treat a wallet copy as the sole current-status check.

Separate company governance

Company suspension, freeze or archive applies to the workspace and is distinct from one employee leaving.

Company lifecycle

Workspace lifecycle controls can restrict all associated identities and operations.

Employee lifecycle

Employee deactivation changes one person’s company-authorized identity while preserving supported audit history.
